About Ricarda

I am an experienced yoga teacher and metaphysical practitioner. Certified in Sound Therapy, Hypnosis, Reiki, and Matrix Energetics, I work with people and animals, both in-person and via distance healing. My practice is located in Phoenicia, NY, near Woodstock, in the Catskill Mountain/Hudson Valley region. This is my story:

My natal astrological chart points clearly to a life path in the healing arts. But at age four I fell in love with dance. By age eighteen I was living in New York City, where I spent most of my life working in the theater, performing as a dancer/singer/actress, and later as a director-choreographer and writer.

As a young dancer, I discovered that I had a gift for deciphering movement patterns that were resulting in chronic pain or injury. Once I spotted the pattern I would create a different way of moving to correct the issue. I developed a private practice, specializing in rehabilitating injuries.

All the while I was delving into the more subtle energetic realms. I studied psychology, Buddhism, various forms of meditation and breath work. Yoga. Chi gong. Many different kinds of energy work and healing protocols, including the ancient practices of Hawaiian kahunas and Native American shamans. And modern Quantum and Scalar Physics.

As my ability to identify underlying energy patterns increased, my private practice shifted. Clients called requesting help with a range of issues from broken hearts to cancer. Over time I came to understand that our bodies and our consciousness are vibrational, and when we change our vibration we can then create health.

To me, there is nothing more exciting than guiding and assisting people as they grow into their brightest most powerful selves. And so, whether I am working with groups or individuals, in the yoga studio or the healing studio, my goal is to provide an expanded loving safe environment where people can quickly access their limitless potential to heal and transform every area of their lives.
